Pick Your Own Strawberries!
The strawberry picking season starts in November. Visit the Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm in the Mornington Peninsula or the Blue Hill Berry and Cherry Farm in the Yarra Valley and pick your own strawberries.
Before you get out into the fields here are a couple of berry picking tips:
- Strawberries will not change colour or flavour once picked, so make sure you pick ones that look ready to eat; and
- Leave the green caps on the berries as they'll stay fresh longer.

Shedfest Yarra Valley
All wineries have sheds and usually they are homes to important things such as tractors, presses, barrels and other interesting bits and pieces.
However, on Saturday October 9 and Sunday October 10, the wineries of the Warburton Highway will open their sheds to accommodate lots of fabulous food, fantastic wine and great live music.
If your type of festival is one where you can taste local produce, experience the charm of small vineyards, chat to the winemakers, all whilst sipping delightful wines... then contact us to organise your tour!
Tired of the same old? Try something new and get in touch with us to organise a memorable day out for dad and the family.
